It's been a little over a month since we adopted April and I honestly think we made the best decision ever! April is the sweetest girl ever. She loves naps and cuddling just as much as we all do. It took a bit of time, but we finally got our cat, Jill, and April to be friends. Now, they both can't stay away from each other.
April loves her walks around the neighborhood. She gets along very well with everyone. We even took her tailgating with us for one of the LSU games. She was a big hit!! Everyone loved her. Although she is very sweet and kind to other people, she is not very fond of other dogs. We do sometimes struggle when other dogs are out for walks at the same time. We are thinking about taking her to more dog parks so that she can get more comfortable around other dogs. It's not a major problem and we definitely manage it well.
Overall, I don't think I could ever stay away from this girl. She's the best! I'm so happy we were able to adopt her!!
