Pippa - Adopted July 2013

We are loving our puppy and named her Pippa. Look how beautiful she is.

Amos Moses (Formerly Benny) - Adopted May 2013

Our best pet ever is Amos Moses!  So affectionate, playful and eager to please. I would love to show him off at an adoption event if you like.

Bernie - Adopted December 2012

hi Bernie is doing great!  I think he's happy and we have bonded well. I have kennel trained Bernie for the day and sleeping. otherwise he loves to be outside or inside with me.  Attached are some pictures! also I do have two cats but they have all acclimated well.

Jolie and Evangeline (Formerly SweetPea and Annabelle Lea) - Adopted June 2012

Jolie and Evangeline are doing wonderfully! They have been having a great year so far, and I have attached plenty of photos for y'all to see! They dressed up for Mardi Gras, the Youngsville parade passes right in front of our neighborhood and we had a little party in our front yard, Jo and Eva were the stars of the party with their purple, green, and gold tutus I made for them. For Valentine's Day we stayed in and cooked, and they enjoyed us being home with them because they got to cuddle their matching toys. For Easter, they  had their own eggs in our family basket and the Easter Bunny brought them pretty collars! They love to lounge and cuddle with us. Also, over the past year Evangeline has become more independent from Jolie. She used to follow her around and was really nervous whenever they were separated. Now when we are home, they don't mind being on separate sofas and even in separate rooms. But when we have company, Evangeline is still nervous and has a little anxiety, but we are still working on her getting warmed up to people. They bring us so much joy and happiness, and we couldn't imagine our lives without them!

Zelda (Formerly Rudy) - Adopted June 2012

"Ruby" became Zelda the moment we adopted her.

Zelda is the lunatic with the stick on the left side of the picture.

The Bassett is her "sister" Cleo.

Though she is completely insane (i.e., still very much a puppy), Zelda is an absolute delight.

Temperance - Adopted August 2012

Temperance is in my lap right now :). She is a cuddlebug and loves my other furbabies!  I attached a photo and drawing by my friends child of her and my newest addition Nina in their cat tree.  Nina came from the shelter I work at and needed a lot of socialization.  Temperance has helped with Nina a lot and she is trusting me more and more everyday!  I also attached a photo of her and her best kitty friend, Marigold!  As you can see she loves that cat tree and other cats :)!

Bitsy - Adopted August 2012

The last year with Bitsy has been the greatest ever!!! When she first came into our home, Bitsy was often scared, her skin and hair flaked off, she had been covered in fleas and neglected for so long that she was missing patches of hair and had badly callused paws from being left on concrete. Boy does she look different now!!! Bitsy now prances around like she is the Queen (which she is), her hair and skin are now healthy, and she goes absolutely everywhere with us! She follows me anywhere I go and loves to be held. She is the joy of our home and we plan on adopting more and helping foster or volunteer whenever we can. We love our girl!

Dude - Adopted March 2013

Allaidan has been renamed "Dude". My family and I LOVE this dog! Everyone who sees him and meets him absolutely loves him. As you can see from the picture taken yesterday, he is extremely well adjusted to his new living situation and family! Thanks for all you do.

Lil Pig - Adopted December 2012

Lil Pig growing like a weed... Adjusted well

Beaux - Adopted September 2012

Logan - Adopted March 2013

We adopted Logan about six months ago from a Baton Rouge Petsmart. This is a picture of his first trip out to his grandma's house (my mother). She was so ecstatic to see him! He's still extremely energetic and playful, but loves snuggling down in my lap for a nap every day. He's been a great caregiver for me since I had to quit work due to an illness. Thank you so much for him!
