We adopted Russ because we wanted a good family pet and we decided that
these rescue dogs needed a good home. He was sweet from the moment that
we adopted him. Russ is doing great. Our kids absolutely love him and he
adores the kids. He is very well trained. He house trained very easily
and he certainly has his own daily routines. He loves digging holes and
chasing squirrels. He also loves chewing bones and playing with the
kid's toys. Attached are some photos of him with the children.

Tiger Adopted October 2010
I adopted a big "fuzzy- lump" kitty named Tiger from y'all about two years ago. Over the past two years, Tiger has gone from being a scaredy cat to ruler of my apartment (in his own mind). He has actually grown an inch or two since y'all last saw him. And without further adieu, Here's Tiger!
Here's Tiger helping me with the laundry, eating, playing and sleeping on the Scratching post, looking out the window and stick his tongue up his noise.

Saddie (AKA Fluffy) Adopted February 2012
Fluffy is doing very good. We have renamed her Saddie and she is loving her new home. We bring her with us when go stay at family's houses out of town and she loved it. She also likes to sit in our laps when we watch tv and relax. Her and our 2 1/2 year old love to play together and chase each other around the yard. One of her favorite things is to have her belly rubbed. Thanks for allowing us to adopt her, we love her very much and is a big part of our family.

Mio (AKA Bailey) Adopted February 2012
Thank you for allowing me to adopt Bailey (now Mio which means sweet in Croatian). She has been a delight. The moment I brought her home, I treated her to as many old stuffed animals as I could find. She found that quite entertaining, but was too sleepy from being neutered to care at the moment.
But it didn’t take too long before she was back up to speed,
ripping up any stuffed animal she met…
dashing after soccer balls,
And carrying the biggest sticks she could find.
Of course she found her ways to get into trouble…like
devouring a tube of the brightest red lipstick which also happened to be the
staining sort.
She thought that was fun.
After a while, I figured out the most entertaining fact. She
loves playing with round fruit. She like pawing at it, tossing it around, and
rolling on it.
At the end of all this playing, she always likes to lay down
and enjoy the sun.
She is quite the happy puppy and I am grateful enough to
call her mine. Thanks APAWS for all you do. You have some fantastic animals and
wonderful volunteers who helped me pick this fine animal.
